A BBQ in M'sia
i've just got back from a bbq that was organised by Carrick. a very good event for us to get together. The people includes sean, lionel, carrick himself, yining, liu hui, lu ming, enrica, ren he, hu xing and zhang lan.the trip started thanks to some persuation by carrick to my mum, i was told im not allowed to go by my parents but sean suggested me to call carrick and ask him to talk to my mum ( who is the one not letting me go to malaysia) . luckily for his psychoing skill, my mum allowed me to go and gave me some money to spend :D i got my passport back and is ready to go at bout 6pm (carrick was unable to contact me due to his phone no batt, and when he found me it was dunno wat time lol)
we reached kranji, took 170 and went to withdraw some money, after which got over to malaysia and exchanged some cash, rate is $100 to 233.20RM. was walking down the place and saw the rate become 233.30RM woot!
when we reached the place my stomach was empty and couldnt tahan. after getting off the car in holiday plaza, we walked around the place cos it was quite late and the shops are closing. not bad the vcd shops have secret compartments to store those pirated stuffs and not to mention those XXX! was browsing the store but whole mind was thinking of food. wat i can see is that sean and lionel are the more enthusiatic ones who wants to make good use of the trip to buy as many cds as they can. real value for money^^ but i dont have ps2, not planning to buy cds(cos can download muahaha) and my whole mind was thinking of food. finally cannot tahan and decide to eat with larry when we reach kfc.
we knew that we are going to eat crabs later but didnt know how late it would be, so i just ordered a zinger meal. met vincent and took his car to find his friends at the car garage after which we went bowling(during the wait, i walked around and bought a stick of century quill eggs from the steamboat van for 1rm i've never seen it in singapore but it seems like its quite popular in johor. The price of food is labelled by the colour of the stick the food is on. very unique van!) .Luckily didnt wait for the crabs cos it was about 1 or 2 am when we were eating the crabs (i would be dead by then if not for the burger). went home after the sumptuous meal. had a fun night and went to bed, chatting bout lots of funny things and disturbed larry till he cant sleep.
woke up next morning at bout 8am then set off and met the rest at the food court in city square. walked around city square afterwards saw "GOTHIKA"'s postal and o.o find it quite impressive halle berry a ghost? and then set off to carrick's place. then while some of them were preparing dumplings while i played fatal frame for 4hours and got stuck. slept till 11pm after that went to clubbing and woot! hot dancing! theres B-boying done by some chinese and malays there. o.O? not bad ^^ very nice!
after much dancing and kino-ing, got tired of the loud music n decide to grab a drink with lionel outside. i ordered milo and Lionel ordered fried rice and milo. then was relaxing and suddenly handphone got reception and i got 2 smses. woot! the reception would go up to 3 bars and then last for bout 10 secs and no more :(
