"The One You like may not be the one you are with, the one you are with may not be the one you like"this sounds quite familier compared to "If you cant be with the one you love, love the one you are with"
but as you can see the 2nd sentence is more "heartless" :D but the first one sounds more sad.
okok, this is just something when i was dreaming and suddenly thought of. i mean the first sentence ;)
well you may think why did i suddenly thought of this, the truth is, i had this dream which i found myself being with a girl which i dont like or dislike (its jsut that u dont have the "fall-in-love" feeling when u see her) . she is my real life friend and i firmly believed that the dream happened becos of my friends around me. why? cos they kept bringing her name in front of my face. duh -.-
ok time to explain wat "The One You like may not be the one you are with, the one you are with may not be the one you like" can tell me.
Sometimes when you see some hotbabe( for me) or some hunks (this applies to girls not me) you would like "WAH LAO EH! if i could ..... then i would ... " ;D something like dat and imagination runs wild or watsoever. or sometimes when u just take a good look at your friend of the opposite sex and you suddenly find them not bad and imagination comes to your mind again.
ok maybe this only applies to ppl which high level of testerones in them :p but well it happens to ME! and im quite sure it happens to MANY of my friends too muahaha! So wats behind the meaning of the first sentence, to say it briefly its actually giving a chance to yourself or others but most importantly do watever as long as you are happy.
doesnt it sounds familier when i say "trying to chat someone up and giving him/her all your attention and care but end up getting nothing" or "someone keeps bugging me or trying to hook me up but im just not interested!". :\ so wats the whole idea behind this post? its actually to tell everyone to wake up and cherish watever you had and most important do wat you think you will be happy no matter what happens.
