Bday Gifts ^^
Its been a long time since i've received so many
gifts ^^ i remember the last time was during primary 6. Long time liao eh? haha this time, i got4 naruto key chains from sean and friends. A bday cake, a bbq under my block (meant for gathering and heng heng lands on my bday ^^V!), it was fun! though rained for a while and it was the first time i bbq for 10 mins in the rain, very special and fun cos holding an umbrella and bbq food and eating them :P, it happens that there is mooncake festival celebration just next to us, which makes the atmosphere even better, first time i've seen young kids from different races gathering together and perform lion and dragon dance its very unique and very cute ^^, They played some songs too, and can see children and adults holding lanterns at the park.
I bought a goodie bag from the celebration, its $2 and got lots of sweets, a packet of drink, 2 mooncakes ( i ate them :P) and lantern + 2 candles. haha very nice , still got lucky draw (budden i forfeit myself cos i didnt bother to sit down and listen for my number) , took some photos with them and ya know, they took my cap away and was so excited to see me botak -.-
Got the latest FHM magazine from Canny and anthony which i wanted to buy too (teckheng u can save ya money and read mine instead!) , a wooden accessory from serene and xueyin ^^ ( man i wanted this alot thanks! suits me very well and i like it lots!), funny thing is that i told them i actually was planning to buy a wooden necklace like this but well, the bracelet is good nuff and to my surprise, carrick gave me a wooden necklace haha so HENG! a blue adiddas cap from my classmates in poly ^^ thanks its very nice!!! haha just when i think i wanted a branded cap :X Last gift was a special one, from enrica, very special horoscope box, which is blue and filled with the different signs, at first i thought it was tarot cards (i've been yearning for a set haha trying to do D.I.Y. fortune telling) but found out it was something better ^^! which i can wear, its an OP t-shirt.
Received a msg from mx telling me that she bought a present for me (maybe with flor bah) and want to meet me to pass it to me in the future. i wonder wat it is, and thank you everybody! its a very nice bday for my first step into my 20s :P
p.s. thanks mum for buying me 2 sets of new clothings ^^
Bottled Up
If u take a bottle and u fill it with water bit by bit,without pouring some away,it will overflow or explode.
Guess everyone has that bottled up feeling? Be it love or hate, why cant we just speak up for ourselves for one bit but let our lives be controlled by wat we hate mosts or letting ourselves regret when we look back asking, " Why didnt i do this earlier? The day the pullup bar came down... ouch!
ya know i just bought a pullup bar from kettler and then spent something fixing it on, budden who knows? after fix and refix several times, its still not stable yet. budden i dunno and then went to try a few times, it didnt come down but suddenly after playing one game of warcraft, i was resting and chatting with friends and then decided to do a set of pullup, to my horror, after the first pull, the pullupbar came down lol just like wat Warrent Officer Pete said, " come on! pull the fella down, dont need to be scared". Finally, i get to try the taste of pulling down the pullup bar lol, i landed on my butt and was screaming in pain, my aunt and sis came over to see wat happened as they heard a loud thud, i was immensed with pain and couldnt even stand, my tears nearly came but i was laughing very hard becos of all places, i hurt my ass.
eventually i stand up by myself and dont have to energy to play computer anymore, went to take a sip of water, half crippling with my left leg, then tried to sit and watch tv, had a rest and got a little scolding from mum :P b4 i finally tired out and went to bed. im sooo careless!!! PI GU KAI HUA le
First Bday Present!
Yes i've received my first bday present!! woot woot! its a bday card from Red Cross. haha! yes its a bday card for a blood donor :P quite cute and attached with a magnet.

Tekong Medicine...Cheap Stuff!
No wonder Tekong Medicine no use, firstly the Paracetamol 24 only costs $0.70 in hospital, the yellow flu pill only costs $0.45 for 15 pills, the cough syrup 100ml costs $1.50. thats the medicine i got from tekong! but the hospital gave me something extra which is the anti-biotics called augmentin, its $11.20. lol so the moral of the story is when u go tekong always ask for anti-biotics else dont bother, u wouldnt heal cos the other medicine not so effective. its some cheap stuff. only the anti-biotics will make the difference. considering the time and pain i will save myself from, i will ask the MO to give me anti-biotics if i ever see the MO again!
Mr Recruit Goes to Hospital...
Today is sunday, the day which i finished all my medication, but guess wat? i still havent recover from my cough and just when i was setting off to jurong east mrt station to meet my bunkmate which lives few blocks away from me and shares the same bday as me 25th Sep 1984 lol, didnt i mention i got 2 buddies which is sep 25th 1984? 1 is at pasir ris named james, the other is just blocks away from me named yuchen, if i didnt get into this PTP, i wouldnt know that such coincidences existed haha well back to topic, just when i was on my way to mrt station, i finally couldnt tahan and decided to buy cough medicine. i went to the convenient store and bought woods cough syrup. spend $4.30 and continued my way. then something serious happened, on my way there, i was coughing away and then my fever came. upon reaching the mrt station i took a measurement and guess wat? it was a 39.2 degrees celsius! my whole head was in pain and sort of like spinning already, after meeting my bunkmate, i tell him that i m not going to tekong liao, im alighting at outram park to go to hospital. luckily while waiting for the train, syaiful, a malay bunkmate came and i called out to him, yuchen and him can go to tekong liaoz without me. After a 15 mins ride, finally reached outram park, bid them goodbye and then set off to Singapore General Hospital. Seriously, this is the first time in my life that i went to hospital ALONE to seek consultation. After that, i went around asking ppl where to seek treatment for fever and cough, then found my way to block 1 where A & E cases are attended, which is also the place for my treatment. (Singapore General Hospital is a farking big place, took a long walk before i reach block 1 and seriously, when i reach there, i was already half dead :\)
After that took my temperature at the carpark at the 2nd storey, yes its 39.2, got a mask from the nurse, she filled in my details and then asked me to go inside. After that i waited for about 15 mins before my name was called inside and they took my pulse and blood pressure, told me to wait outside again (wow nurse very chio ^^), then after that waited for 15 mins - half hour, then the doc called me go to room 2, wow the doc also very chio! very young doc, 23-25 yrs old bah i think :D, cannot see the mouth at first cos she wearing mask too, budden the eyes and the voice, woot woot! anyway nvrmind, then asked me to sit down, asked me bout questions of how long my cough and fever have been, my fever is about 1 week + liao, my cough is about 2 weeks at least cos i've been coughing since i entered NS ba i think, she asked me if i've seeked any doctor, then i tell her i got see MO twice in tekong and even gana drip but still not recover.
After that she say need to take my blood sample for testing and later i need to go X-ray, then use the rubber gloves to tie round my right hand and then took out the syringe [wah lao poke poke again :'( ] then i look at the syringe poke my vein and wow shiok again, pain siah! she tried talking to me, asking some more questions to divert my attention away so it will be less painful for me, then i tried to answer lor budden tell u la, really damn pain lol (it took about 30 secs). After getting the blood sample, she say hmm ok, seems that u dont need handyplast :\.
After that i was asked to wait outside for my x-ray and then she say that my bloodtest will take about an hour which i think is ONE HOUR hospital time = 2 or more hours earth time. While waiting outside i can see that there is about 3 NS guys, 2 on wheelchair (dunno wat happen to them), and 1 ns guy came to talk to me, he is from kranji camp and he say that he is gonna POP(passing out parade) liao budden gana stupid fever cough and then the medicine from MO no use one, he say until like the MO very jialat, dont give him attend c, always change to attend B let him do sai kang. Then asked me why am i wearing smart 4, i replied him that i was actually going to book in budden suddenly the fever came back made me bway tahan polyclinic closed on sun and i go hospital lor. He got 3 days MC, and left way earlier b4 me.
After waiting for 15 mins after my bloodsampling, i was asked by the nurse to go x-ray, took my x-ray which was super fast :). then was asked to wait. that time was about 7:25, i reached the place at 6:09, here comes the fun part, i have to wait for my results and those that was after me, left one by one... :\ watched Yi tian Tu LOng JI from start until end, still havent finish, went to buy oreo cookie at the vending machine and took a cup of plain water due to my hunger and then walk around in smart 4 like an idiot waiting for results. Very jialat, cannot tahan want to die liao, the nurse gave me panadol while i waited outside, spent few hours outside, doing nothing, then saw "Men's Health" magazine, finished the whole book there :( wearing the stupid mask, enduring the cold air con, in the end my temperature dropped to 37.2.
lol finally just before 10 pm, my doc asked me to go in (she took off her mask, wow!) then she say paiseh let me wait so long, she say its cos of the blood test and then tell me that my x-ray results, lung got some infection, she will give me anti-biotics to help cure it and then the tests results showed that my white blood cells are on the high, if im an elderly i would be admitted to hospital liaoz, budden im in my 20s so nvrmind can go home. Then she say i will have quite a long mc, then i say " 1 week? :) " (CHAO KENG!) she says ya, bout 1 week. :D ho seh la! then she tell me thats all lor, she go issue me mc and then ask me to wait for my medicine outside, and asked me to call back my camp and tell them im not going back for long time liaoz haha.
Then waited for 15 mins like dat, got my mc, 3 days light duty, medicine list and BILL. i gave my medicine list to the pharmacy, then proceeded to pay bills which is of course FREE. budden looked at the bill quite expensive, its $80! The bill got b4 and after gov grant, if im foreigner, i'll have to pay $191.40 for this whole thing wow! if im singaporean, i'll need to pay $80! Budden im NSF men woot woot so its FREE :D wahaha WELFARE!!
Thats all liaoz, went in with high fever, cough and flu. came out at bout 10:10pm with 1 week mc, 3 days light duty, cough medicine, flu medicine, panadol, anti-biotics and 1 appointment next monday to x-ray my lungs again to see if got improvement or worsen not :( if got become worse = HOSPITALISE! god pls help me! for i've finished 2 bottles of cough med, whole row of flu med, few rows of panadols and half bottle of pi pa gao liaoz :

first unfortunate thing on thursday is that i have to wake up at 5am , then took my dad's cab to jurong east, take the mrt all the way to pasir ris, wait for the shuttle bus and then, " Sorry, the bus is not for recruits -.-". then have to chiong cab, after that got down the cab, sergeant immediately want to book me liao cos i alighted at wrong place, after that i say that im newbie recruit and asked for chance and heng heng nvr tio book or tio confinement or guard duty. ^^V!

budden after reaching the scorpion company my platoon sergeant ask me why am i late, then i say i am very sick , i want to report sick, then he ask me why i didnt go and see polyclinic? then he say nvrmind, ask me to change and go down to report sick and see Medical Officer :P, wahaha when i take my temperature, i was 38.6 degrees celcius!
head is burning siah, then whole body like faint faint, no wonder they say tekong medicine like no use one. in the end, waited for nearly 2 hours b4 i finally get to see MO, then in the end, MO write in the medical report then i see something like thyphoid jab or watever, then he say he gonna post me to sick bay, then i was wondering, " oh? having a jab eh?" and asked me to wait outside.
after that i went out and waited, chatted with my attend b buddies, and the aircon is like super cold and those with cough is given a mask to cover their mouth, which of course im included, im having cough, flu and fever 3-in-1 tekong DIEsease. then i tell them i think im gonna have a jab later. in the end guess wat? when i was showed into the sick bay, OMFG! its gonna be drip for me, the legendary yakult straw which i heard from mr nyehnyeh is gonna be poke into my left arm. then i look at the packet, omg its sodium chloride. (salt water yes?) the needle super thick then the medic ask me which one of my arms got thicker veins, then i say i think its my left arm cos i use it for blood donation, in the end we checked both arms and decided to poke my left arm, another medic saw this and said, " hmm good good, your veins very visible and luckily ur arms not much hair, easier to poke" (!!!)
wahaha, upon hearing this, the medic tell me not to look if im scared but i was staring at the big fat needle, then he start poking, wah man, no one can tell u how shiok i felt, it was totally different from blood donation! he poke into my arm then pushed further inside, adjusted and gave a final push when the whole needle got inside. i can see my blood flow out like water and my flesh and veins gana rubbed against the needle! i was giggling cos i nvr knew it would be so painful, strange i didnt shout but i just laugh and giggle nonstop to release my stress?
then the medic commented that, im the first person to giggle when the needle poke in, well i think i was overstressed liao haha. didnt imagine it would be so painful, then after that he removed a tube and attached the tube connected to the Sodium chloride 0.9 to me. some of my blood just oozed out siah! bway tahan, thats how i got my first drip. when i thought i will be given injection and given attend c again :(
shortly after, lied down on the bed and slept for a while and saw my buddy marcus go in the sickbay, i tot he will be given drip too, but wtf! he was spared, and was given rest on the bed instead -.-, i think its cos his fever is less than 38.0 degrees celcius.
anyway after a few hours sleep, and having porridge for lunch, i was discharged with my temperature under control. 37.3 degrees :) got 3 days attend b, some medicine ( improved cough syrup and flu pill) and a poke on my left hand :
Tekong Cough!
i've booked out yesterday night due to attend C status, its high fever of 39.2 degrees celcius, with cough and flu. seriously, its like hell when i got the fever, everything becomes so blur until i forget to bring my wallet when i bookout and had to wait for my dad to fetch me at bout 11pm when i reached the jetty at 930pm. i sat and wait till i fall asleep, its a torture to sleep in a sitting position but bo bian i cannot lie down cos im in uniform and the sergeants are patrolling i scared later tio scolding.
this morning after i woke up, i can feel that my whole body is aching and very hot. i even have difficulty standing up, strange that yesterday night when i returned home i can still play my computer but this morning i felt totally helpless.
gonna book in this thurs morning at 715am at saf jetty, hope i will recover quickly, i've lost 3 kg liaoz from this stupid coughing and fever. Tekong Cough really owns. I MUST GAIN WEIGHT!

My saturday...
went to meet larry and carrick at jurong point to eat and chat...
went to a sushi place, spent some quality time there, drinking hot green tea and many varieties of sushi which i dont bother to check out the names , had the cold noodles and some fried fish :X ( i totally bo chap my cough lol).
i've forgotten most of the conversation cept that larry still try to use mx to get response from me -.- and keep telling me things bout mx. hmm trying to agitate me budden :) took it easy and told him that it doesnt affect me anymore :P
tried some other food and finally the dessert which was some cold "kway" and larry bought 6 of it and took home. haiz, 3 of us shared the cost and he took the best dessert home :\ each of us spent $20 and then went our ways. carrick says he want to meet mrs lee lee jong, larry gonna meet his guy friend who is having bday and gonna meet his "dear" omg who? lol. then i gonna go home and rest.
after that took 187 went to find my mum and took medicine home. drank the medicine and now listening to songs and played games with my friend. doing nothing now, thinking of going to IMM to shop tomoro with my bunkmate.
(found out that my godsis is having fun in thailand, but will meet her next week :P)

time flies after the first bookout and its now the 2nd bookout for me liaoz... some things changed though, the famous "tekong cough" has taken control over the whole scorpion company after the first book in haha. even i was not spared from the terrible diesease which is now really one-for-all, all-for-one.
my buddy marcus had attend b status throughout the week and was spared from most of the exercises which doesnt really benefit him cos he needed more exercises to grow muscles which in my opinion and most of our bunk mates think that he is too skinny. The good thing bout him is that he has adapted to the style of eating fast. In NS, everything is in a rush, especially during meal times which u have to eat fast and go do your area cleaning after that. :D, marcus if u are reading this, nice improvement on your part :D
well the whole of this week is very special, we were exempted from having leg exercises such as running and those gym exercises which targeted the low limbs. This is refered to by our PC WO YIK as " No-lowerlimb-week". All the leg exercises was substituted by pumpings and more hand exercises :( On thursday we had our night training which was running, as its the no-lowerlimb-week, our sergeant say its not compulsory for us. In the end most of us stayed hearing that its only light jogging. Guess wat!? its 20+ rounds of gradual accelerated jogging! omg! sweat like hell and had to sing songs and do pumpings during the run. MAN! i've nvr ran so much in my life while singing and doing pumpings. at the end of everything i think i've lost 1kg! haha
basically as u've guessed the next day which is friday, my lowlimbs are like paralysed. I had to put in effort to walk and worse still, theres swimming in the afternoon for me b4 i book out. after knowing this, u all should have an idea of wat's NS about liao right? its actually pushing your body and mind to the limits so as to make u stronger :D
well after the ns thinggy, had bookout, went home, changed and then set off to randy's bday party which was very good except that i was nearly booted out for being underage. the scenery for the place is amazing. those ppl who had missed it. do go there by urselves when you have the chance. its at the Equinox and u can see most of the city area from there. Really very nice and beautiful singapore.

A Chao Recruit's Story

This is the first song I learnt in the army. Yup, it's been 2 weeks already.
Leading a disciplined life's not easy, for the first 2 weeks that is. It's the same thing everyday. You wake up before dawn, brush your teeth, wash your face. Gather downstairs to gulp down half a litre of water, march to the cookhouse for breakfast, area cleaning. And after that, it's training, training and training all the way. (Not forgetting lunch, dinner, night snack and the water parades in between.) The nights are short and the days are long. There is no escape. (Unless you can swim approx. 4 km back to mainland)
Training is tough, no doubt about that. We do push ups more than the number of steps we take each day. (That of course is just an exaggeration!) We jog, carry weights, and all other sorts of exercises to build up our strength, endurance and stamina. With muscles aching beyond imaginable and our bodies full of sweat, mind over body, we push our bodies to the limit. To tell you the truth, I feel a lot healthier. I dont sneeze early in the morning now :D
It's the people there that make life tough. (Maybe they should change the name from Pulau Tekong to Pulau Tekan) Generally the sergeants and officers there are nice people. (After office hours that is) However, it is also their duty to train us recruits into operationally ready soldiers. Therefore I don't blame them for being harsh on us at times. However, I do feel a little awkward at times, taking orders from sumone the same age as me, or one year my junior.
Would you believe if I told you that they also hold lectures in the army? Yup, lectures from topics regarding health and fitness, to first aid, to CPR are held. Having the appropriate knowledge in mind will benefit us should there be a time of emergency.
You know what I like most in the army? It's the food! I dunno bout other people, but I always look forward to meal times. I would have a mountain of food on my plate and I would finish it all in 10 mins. There would be rice, with 6 dishes (4 meat dishes and 2 vegetable dishes), soup, a cup of syrup flavoured drink and a fruit. Sometimes they provide ice-cream or Jell-O instead of the fruit. At times, we even have Western food for our meals. Whoever said army food sucks? By the way, my parents and friends said i've put on weight.
Apart from washing my own clothes, I would say that area cleaning is one routine that I hate. One can clean the bunk today only to find it dusty again the next morning. And even if you think the bunk is spick and span, the sergeant is sure to find some dusty little spot that has been overlooked. There are so many things to take note. No stains on the windows, no dust behind and in the cupboards, no dust on the floor, no dust on the fans and lights. No finger prints on the cupboard mirror. No dust on the sides of the cupboard door. No cobwebs on the walls, no kiwi polish stains on the floor. No dust under the table and chairs. No dust on the side of the bed. Bed must be pulled. Particular clothes must be hanged at the designated areas....the list goes on and on. It's like doing spring-cleaning everyday!
Hmm...although there are lots more to talk about, I'm kinda tired of typing already. Think I'll go take a nap now.

1. When u want to do push up, u must clap 2 times and then punch ur right fist in the air, shouting "Scorpion!" or ur company name b4 u begin. and then when u recover, u must do the same again.
2. New stupid rule from SAF, no more using of Squeeze and Spread, can only use " Close up and Open Up" which sounds even more stupid haha. even the sergeants are complaining and sometimes they forget bout the squeeze and spread thing. lol
3. Our platoon's song I.C. always forget lyrics sing halfway song become distorted or changed to another version, since the first day we start singing, "Training to be soldiers", it was sang everyday until now when everyone already damn sian of the stupid song. spam until no strength to march/run -.-
4. Some ppl still march with right hand right leg. LMAO!
5. when doing circuit training, from station to station u must shout "YA!!!!" when u run which makes us seem like idiot lol
6. when wearing fieldpack, vest and slack, sbo and dummy rifle, and that stupid helmet. all of the ppl look like plants and worse of all, there will be sergeants spraying cold water on u like watering plants -.-
7. The First day i use the bunk toilet i was amazed that behind every door, theres posters of sexily dressed woman from FHM haha! ( but was told to remove it by the sergeant after the first week cos of parent visit)
8. After the first week in ns, everyone in our platoon got hooked on FHM haha.
9. everyone is in-charge of certain things in the company, like for me im in armskote which starts only during BMT ^^V! One guy is sick from first day and was attend-b status 5 days in a row and now known as the "Attend-B" I.c. then we got own smoker's club and head of it is the Smoking I.C.
10. Those who cannot do pullups are called "Zero-Fighters", Those who cannot swim are called "Divers". it happens that im belong to a group called "Zero-Fighting Divers" haha

"...just when i thought today was a slack day, with just one tiny alarm msg for the past 9hrs at work, a msg came back at 17:30.A man jumped and fell into a drain at some hdb estate.in my heart i was thinking, first sky diver case for me?
well i told myself that i am able to face it... it's like i never seen death bodies on the net before right?arrived at scene, there was a crowds around there and my FTO told me that case should be true...Came out of the car. Saw a guy around 20s with bloodstain on his clothes, wounds on his face. My team leader was already at the scene.
A blood stained towel is placed on his thigh.Walked over and see him conscious"Thank god he's alive." first thing i told myselfHowever his looks seems to be in great pain and a sorrowful look.soon the person's mother and brother arrived... the way the mother reacted.. Really reminds me of my mum if the person lying there was me... Seriously nothing is greater than a mother's love. Her looks changed the moment she saw her son,tears begin to form..her actions were so disorganized, her hands trembling, kept on mumbling to herself and asking the surrounding officers what happened.
Fortunately there was the guy's brother and she held on to the mother.For me, i am totally lost. i thought i could have cope with dead bodies... This time it's not even at that stage yet. The person is still alive but then it really pains one's heart to see someone in such pain. i myself also panic and was stunned when Team Leader asked me to apply first aid when i know nuts about it. :/Heng got my FTO to guide me. FTO showed me on how he applied it and i learn a few tips.Meanwhile it was like forever when everyone waited for the ambulance to come. the mother was like saying"i have rushed down from hougang but where is the ambulance?""wat's taking so long?" "did u call the ambulance?"in her sobbing voice. now i understand why they say police it's an extraordinary career.fortuanately the person did not pick a higher story to jump, if not it's confirm death.
The ambulance arrived and paramedics had to lift him up to the stretcher. and they have to examine the wounds and fracture first then tell us in order for me to log a report.Remember i said there was a towel on his thigh?paramedics lift it up and i can see his white stuff on his flesh - it's the bone. his lips and right eye was bleeding, deep cuts and fracture on his elbow.And when the mother was saying things like "omg wat happened to my son" Nothing i mean really nothing can really compare to how a mother care for her children.took down the particulars of the brother of the victim as the mother was too stunned to give her particulars.Next Unexpected thing.the victim's name is called Ng Shi Xian. same age as me.. if u think the world is small,the brothers name is..Ng Shi Wei.SAME AS ME...unbelievable. but he's 2 yrs younger than me.but i think he's too stunned to notice my name tag... to me i was like wtf.. exact name and surname..
found out that Shi xian's jumped from his gf's estate area and i guessed he could have just have a agurement with his gf and maybe broke up with him.that shi wei gave me the gf's hp and i called, no one answer. i think the gf also was in shocked.didn't expect shi xian to do such a rash act.from today's lesson, i had learn. NEVER TO ACT RASHLY.Think before doing anything stupid.I certainly hope that shi xian will suvive from the fall... but then it will be a very painful lesson for him.Wat's the point of hurting yourself for someone who doesn't care about you?yeah it's easy to say this as the 3rd party but after today, i hope everyone who reads my blog.. think twice before doing any thing stupid. No problems in this world cannot be solved. Talking to a fren will be a best solution and seek help.singapore isn't that cruel...And doing dumb things will hurt your family members the most. sometimes i think love is truely something with extreme ends.IT can make u feel like heaven and bring u down to hell the next moment.
BGR isn't everything, there is always parents love, friendshipand stupid things will not only hurt yourself but those that cared for you.And to the person that he wanna end his life for...He/she may be sad for the next few months, and they may meet someone new.The person that died, can just only be the past and be forgotten.Only families will remember them, not those that they died for.but not to blame, when a person is deeply inlove, his/her senses are blind, mind isnt functioning properly. Wat may seems to be logical changed to be illogical and ending a person's life seems to be the only way out.Wat is love?Well i hope shi xian have a speedy recovery and doesn't not have any side effects after the jump.and for me, i think this is just the beginning... i have to prepare for the worst.. in the line of police, expect the unexpected.

Im so happy to have "survived" in tekong and making it back home. haha! it seems like it's just yesterday when i took MRT with my bag all the way from Jurong East MRT to Pasir Ris ALONE woot! after that took bus from pasir ris to the ferry. Seeing so many ppl with their parents, relatives and gfs yet im alone haha budden nvrmind!
upon reaching the place, which is so near to changi airport, took the ferry to tekong. it was kinda relaxing. and upon reaching the island, my 1st impression of it was that it is like a CHALET. haha then took a walk up to registration and exchanged my pink ic for the 11B which is the green i.c. consisting of 11 details and 1 barcode thats why its 11B (according to my friend). after that went for a very boring introduction and forced to take some vows which nvr heard b4 but its something bout protecting the country so :D
Stomach was super hungry after everything and was asked to proceed to the canteen for dinner... which was the best meal in tekong so far. having butter rice and fish and chips haha. but i know that after this meal, the food will become more and more suxor as the days went by haha which is very true -.- cannot tahan their breakfast, sometimes it just made me feel like puking when i eat it. hmm wat can i do? but bo bian LL have to eat :
some points which i found in NS: U have to queue super long for food, need to scan i.c. b4 u can eat, fruits for every lunch and dinner. Night snack ends after parent's visit (which gonna make u super hungry at night) and MUSLIM food is much better than chinese food and they have drumsticks when chinese eat chicken wing until sianz :( then all my muslim friends ask me to convert haha
well nuff bout food :D, after dinner get to take my army stuffs and found out its at least 30kg but best part has yet to come. on my way back to my company, saw teckheng and realised he is same company and later found out he is same bunk as me too woot woot! then carrying the stupid load, was told by sergeant that all of us not allowed to take lift unless given permission. to my horror, im platoon 4 which is located at the highest storey. which is 5th storey! climb stairs everyday to 5th storey SONG BOH! :
later on found 2 bunkmates which has the same bday as me except that they are born in the morning about 6am while im 1804hrs one of them just live a road away from me somemore and is a ngee ann student too haha! same bday and i wonder if we have the same charactoristics too ^^ so far so good!
as days passed by, then came parents visiting day finally saw my parents and they say i've grown, yes i've gained 5kg due to proper meals and whole loads of exercises made me quite muscular now :X 5 kg in 2weeks+ is amazing ^^ currently 70kg 178cmtall!
well thats all about my life as my recruit until now, too many things to write liaoz, regular morning 5 Basic Exercise (5BX), running, swimming, marching, road marching with fieldpack sbo and dummy rifle (total bout 25kg load), Endurance trainings(runs), circuit training, jumps, pumpings and more physical exercises everyday.
